Compression Molding
Compression molding is a technology that is normally used for thermosetting polymers: the process consists in compressing the plastic material inside a mold of a heated stamp, the heat of the mold fluidizes the thermosetting material and makes the pressure possible and consequently the realization of the “form”. This technology allows to realize parts of different sizes and weights, always guaranteeing an excellent quality of the finished product and compliance with the standards. The type of presses used for this activity are of the vertical type and allow a molding of thermo-hardening material to an excellent relationship between quality and processing times.
