It is not an object for children only. Its features and the materials used make this highly aesthetically pleasing seat suitable for virtually any environment.

Creating something simple is harder than it looks. With practical height and depth adjustment systems, the seat is ergonomic, comfortable and suitable for all ages. The adjustment mechanism is one of the key elements of Lemo’s design. Operable with one hand, it allows the seat and footrest to be disengaged simply by turning a pin. It is then possible to set the height at which the seat and footrest should be positioned and to adjust the most suitable seat depth. Once the right adjustments have been found, the pin is put back into a straight position and disappears completely from view, resulting in an integral part of the support structure.

These are common characteristics of all objects made through the processing of plastics, as they allow flexibility and strength.

From plastics processing to the 2018 Best of the Best award

With this judgment, the Red Dot Design Award jury awarded Cybex the Best of the Best 2018 award for the Lemo Chair.
